RATING: 9/10 — BUY IT
The Air Jordan 4 Thunder has been one of the most hyped Jordan drops of the year. Black and yellow, bold as ever. But does it actually hold up? We wore them for two weeks to find out.
LOOKS
The Thunder colorway is aggressive in the best way. Black nubuck upper with vibrant yellow accents on the wings, lace toggle, and outsole. In person, these are even more striking than photos suggest. The build quality feels premium — this is not a budget release masquerading as a premium one.
COMFORT
Here's where it gets real: Jordan 4s have never been the most comfortable sneaker in the lineup. The midsole is on the firmer side. For daily wear, you'll want to break them in over 3–5 sessions before they feel truly broken in. That said, once they loosen up? Perfectly wearable all day.
FIT
True to size for most. If you're between sizes, go half up — the toe box is slightly narrow.
IS IT WORTH $215?
At retail? Absolutely yes. These are a grail-level colorway at a fair price. The problem is getting them at retail. On the secondary market, prices have settled around $280–320. At that range, it's still a strong buy if you want something that will hold value.
